Training in the pool for the TKD Multimedios Cup 2018
Yesterday morning at the Jerusalem College pool, aquatic training was carried out by taekwondo students as part of their preparation for the TKD Multimedios Cup 2018.
Coordinated by Professor Adán Briones, the athletes performed functional regenerative exercises, as well as recreation as a different way of preparing their bodies and minds for the competition.
Briones explained that this change in routine is very beneficial for the students, "it is a training in the water as part of the preparation we have for the Multimedios Cup, with examination periods and training periods".
"It is something different, we are grateful to the Jerusalem College for letting us use their facilities, as it allows us to work with the young people and manage this type of activities."
"Now we focus on an activity that is very different from what is normally done in taekwondo, it is recreational and regenerative with a focus on martial arts, so that they can perform better in the tournament."
"We are looking for alternatives to improve the preparation of our students, both physically and emotionally, with different and enjoyable options," he emphasized.
On this occasion, students from MEZE College, Las Américas College, Nueva California Community Center, Casa de la Cultura de Matamoros, and AB Smart Training trained.
As well as the Matamoros selection, supported by the ELEF teachers, Ana Karen and Ramón Aguilera.

He reminded that on the day of the tournament, which is May 19th, there will be registrations, but the first 300 forms will receive their shirt, in addition to that, everyone will participate in the raffle of gifts and will be able to compete for cash prizes.
