UdeG Coach Talks About Problems in Ascenso and Liga Requirements

UdeG coach, Jorge Dávalos, spoke about the problems regarding the Ascenso issue and the requirements that the Liga asks for in order to play in the top league. Out of the contenders to play in the First Division next season, only Leones fulfills those requirements.

"The team that achieves promotion has all the rights. I wouldn't consider the capacity of a stadium as a reason for a team not to get promoted. What is earned on the field should be respected, and the champion should be the one to get promoted, period," he commented.

For the "Viking", what is earned on the field should be respected, supporting Cafetaleros, their opponent this Sunday, and Alebrijes de Oaxaca, who, as the champions of the Apertura 2017, are already waiting for their rival.
