Head of Aprevide confirms Gimnasia's intentions
The head of Aprevide, Juan Manuel Lugones, confirmed the exclusive advance of this newspaper last Thursday about Gimnasia's intentions to host the match between Lobo and Boca at the Estadio Ciudad de La Plata, with the aim of making a good collection with the possible sale of stands and popular tickets to the xeneize public.
In an interview with radio La Redonda, Lugones expressed, "some time ago the president of Gimnasia mentioned to me the possibility of playing as the home team at Estadio Único (sic) in the match against Boca, he talked to me about a collection issue, in case they can sell tickets to the visiting public", emphasized the head of the security organization.
Later on, he clarified that "so far, nobody from Gimnasia has formally requested us to organize the operation at Estadio Único (sic), but in conversations the president mentioned the possibility of doing it there, for collection reasons", he pointed out.
Lugones also said that "we don't suggest where the match should be played, if they want to do it at El Bosque, they can, but it's clear that the conditions are not suitable to host the visiting public, unless Gimnasia restricts its own public with a lung to sell two thousand tickets to Boca", he concluded. The match between Gimnasia and Boca will be on Sunday the 29th, so the issue will be resolved before the weekend. This newspaper learned that the Estadio Ciudad de La Plata Foundation is already working to have it played at 32 and 25.
