The Androids have gained prominence in the history of Dragon Ball Super with the Tournament of Power. Today, Akira Toriyama's sketches of the characters were revealed.

Androids' Power in Dragon Ball Super

The power of the Androids has been crucial to Dragon Ball Super in the closing of the story. Android 17 was the winner of the Tournament of Power and earned the wish of the Super Dragon Balls.

Both were created by Dr. Gero and their mission was to eliminate Goku, but their true role came with the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super. Akira Toriyama drew them again after 15 years of not doing so, and this is how he imagines them.

These curious designs were shared by the publisher Shueisha and did not take long to appear on the official site of Dragon Ball Super. Akira Toriyama's style has changed over the years, in the anime they look much older while the manga creator has a more childish vision of his characters.

According to the publisher and Toei Animation, the creator of the Dragon Ball universe had not drawn Android 17 for more than 15 years. Currently, the manga is being handled by Toyotaro and his team.
