He won 3-0 in Santa Fe and solidified his position among the top spots.

In Santa Fe, Unión faced Temperley, two teams with a drought of victories: the home team had gone five games without a win and Temperley (who is also in the relegation zone) had gone six. The Tatengue ended the streak and won 3-0.

The feeling in the Santa Fe night was that the game was over when only fifteen minutes had passed. With his shot that went in by the right post of Josué Ayala, Franco Soldano put Unión 2-0 ahead. Earlier, at the five-minute mark, the Tatengue's number nine had opened the scoring with a header.

It all happened very quickly and became too steep for Temperley. For the team led by Gastón Esmerado, it was like kissing the canvas twice before the first round ended. The overall situation that the Celeste is going through, combined with the high pressure exerted by the home team and their voracity in search of the opposing goal, left them with no chances of at least getting a point.

The only interesting thing about the visitors' offensive play was the set pieces, which were exhibited with a certain worked mechanism. In fact, a shot by Giordana, in the only play that could have brought suspense to the match, hit the post.

The second half felt very comfortable for Unión, who finished it off with Gamba's goal from the penalty spot.

Leonardo Madelón's team ended a streak of five winless games and, as a bonus, their forward duo regained their scoring touch.
