In the regular phase of the competition, Athens from Cordoba (12-5) regained the runner-up position in the National Basketball League (LNB) by defeating Ferro (7-8) as the home team. The game took place at the Carlos Cerutti Sports Center in the provincial capital. The progression in favor of the team led by coach Nicolás Casalánguida was as follows: 20-17, 40-33, 59-49, and 78-71.
