The Eagles Crowned as NFC Champions
The Eagles defeated the Vikings by a comfortable score of 38-7, securing their third conference championship in their history. The previous titles were won in 1980 and 2004.
A Comeback Victory
Although Minnesota took an early lead with a touchdown by Kyle Rudolph, the Philadelphia team remained patient and found their rhythm. They tied the game with an interception return by Patrick Robinson and later took the lead with a run by Blount.
Eagles Dominate the Game
From that point on, the Eagles took control of the game. The defense played a significant role, with Barnett forcing a fumble from Case Keenum that was recovered by Chris Long. Foles then connected with Alshon Jeffrey for a touchdown pass.
A Decisive Victory
With a 24-7 lead, Philadelphia's dominance continued in the second half. The Eagles' quarterback threw two more touchdown passes, bringing the final score to 38-7. Foles finished the game with 352 passing yards. The defense also remained strong, stopping Minnesota's offense from scoring on two occasions within the red zone.
