The professional squad of Estudiantes trained yesterday morning at the Country Club and closed the first week of preseason with pure football, as Lucas Bernardi proposed several football tasks. The players will enjoy their first rest day today and will resume training tomorrow in City Bell.

For yesterday's practice, the coach divided the squad into three teams of ten players each. Since Carlo Lattanzio worked separately due to discomfort and Christian Alemán only participated in strictly tactical tasks without opponents, five Reserve players were called up: defenders Facundo Mura, Nazareno Colombo, and Bruno Cabrera, and forwards Jhon Manuel Arteaga and Alexis Vega (see separate note).

The teams rotated and faced each other in a work that had as a guideline that depending on where the ball was, the players could touch the ball twice or more. In addition, the pressure from the midfielders and forwards on the defense was constant. Bernardi was very active giving instructions to his players and emphasized that the plays end in a goal.

How were the teams formed? With yellow bibs, Andújar, Sánchez, Colombo, Desábato, and Dubarbier; Gómez, Cascini, Zuqui; Fernández and Borgnino (later Arteaga entered); with the violet bibs, Sappa, Ruiz Díaz, Schunke, Cabrera, and Diarte; Damonte, Gil Romero, Rodríguez; Otero and Pavone (Vega); and, with the red bibs, Pourtau, Mura, Bazzana, Campi, Erquiaga; Braña, Giménez, Cejas; Melano (Pavone) and Lugüercio.

HAD GREETINGS FOR DAMONTE

Israel Damonte celebrated his 36th birthday yesterday at Estudiantes' training and, therefore, he was the most greeted in the morning in City Bell. The midfielder also received a greeting from the club through social media.
