Monster Energy Freeride Series

The beach El Palmar in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo will be the ideal scenario to host the first edition of the Monster Energy Freeride Series, an event that will take place from November 17th to 19th and will bring together the best Jet Ski Freeride athletes in the world.

This is a sport that is practiced in the ocean waves and combines disciplines such as surfing and FMX (Freestyle Motocross). Mexico has been professionally represented in this discipline thanks to Abraham Hoschstrasser, who has been competing in countries such as Japan, Australia, the United States and Portugal for the past three years.

This competition will feature 20 representatives from ten countries, including Japan, France, the United States, Australia, and Mexico, who will face each other to conquer this challenge.

The activities will begin on Friday, November 17th, a day that will be dedicated to qualifying the riders and placing them on the competition board. On Saturday, November 18th, the tournament will officially start with the first round of qualifications, the repechage, and the round of 16, while on Sunday, November 19th, the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the grand final will take place.

In addition, throughout the duration of the event, attendees will be able to enjoy alternative activities, which will offer a unique beach experience, such as Jetsurf shows with athletes who compete in the main world championships and an FMX (Freestyle Motocross) spectacle.
