"We are left with pain, many memories, very pleasant memories of course. I had the opportunity to spend time with him practically since his childhood, 16 years of youth, and we will remember the good times, for sure. For the bullfighting world, a great bullfighter has been lost who has left a very important mark in the world of bullfighting."
Juan Carlos López //Operational Manager of Taurine Shows in Mexico
"An extraordinary human being is gone, an icon of the event, a bullfighter who was part of the history of Mexican and international bullfighting, a member of one of the most important bullfighting dynasties. But also a professional, a bullfighter who contributed a lot to bullfighting and managed to create fans among many people, many young people at the time, many children, many families, and well, he leaves an extraordinary legacy."
Fabián Barba //Matador de Toros
"When I started to make the decision to become a bullfighter, the first house I arrived at was the Armillita's house, so he was always a mirror that many of us young people looked up to. The death of a loved one, an admired person, is very painful, especially if it is a great bullfighting figure like the maestro, Miguel Espinosa."
Luis Obregón Pasillas //Secretary of Economy and Tourism of the Municipality of Aguascalientes
"We are inviting the entire population of Aguascalientes and bullfighting fans to join us tomorrow at the posthumous tribute we will give to Maestro Miguel Espinosa. Tomorrow, starting at one o'clock in the afternoon, this tribute will take place at the Government Palace, where a guard of honor will be held. Later, at four o'clock in the afternoon, he will be taken to the Cathedral Basilica for the Mass, and finally, he will be accompanied to the Monumental Bullring of Aguascalientes for the matador's final lap in the ring, along with his family, and bid him farewell with the applause that we were always grateful for, for the many afternoons of passion and glory that this maestro gave us as a beloved son of Aguascalientes. Today, Aguascalientes is mourning his loss."
