Sevilla
Once Eduardo Berizzo has staged the landing, the coach who will have the difficult task of replacing Jorge Sampaoli, the Sevilla management focuses its efforts on locating players who can improve the performance of its current squad.
For now, negotiations to incorporate the various monitored players are progressing slowly, as the club does not want to take decisive steps until it certifies some sales and confirms what happens with players like Vitolo or Steven N'Zonzi. Both are part of the club's plans for the coming season, but it is very likely that both will end up changing teams, prior to paying their release clause.
As of today, and considering these conditions, the work of the technical secretariat led by Óscar Arias is marked by the need to strengthen all lines. In the case of the goalkeeping position, the club values the incorporation of Germán Lux (free agent), an Argentine goalkeeper who would come to cover the vacancy of a David Soria who is willing to look for minutes away from Nervión; while for the defense, the landing of a pair of center-backs is being studied, with the Frenchman Kurt Zouma (Chelsea) as the main desire.
For the midfield, the plans include Dani Parejo (Valencia), Roque Mesa (UD Las Palmas), Daniele Baselli (Palermo) or Lucas Torreira (Sampdoria), players who could either cover the expected departure of N'Zonzi or, in the best case scenario, help him during the coming season.
Finally, for the attack, the Seville team is already negotiating the incorporation of wingers such as Jesús Navas (free agent) or Nolito (Manchester City), although the signing of a center forward is not ruled out. The Polish Lukasz Teodorczyk (Anderlecht), the Frenchman Michy Batshuayi (Chelsea) or the Spaniard Lucas Pérez (Arsenal) are among the candidates.
