Jorge Mendoza Receives Invitation to Test Drive an IndyCar
Laguna international pilot Jorge Mendoza, received an invitation at the age of 55, to drive and test an IndyCar on May 30th at the Indianapolis oval, where one of the most prestigious races in the world will take place.
Jorge has always shown a very special ability to quickly adapt to the cars he has driven, he is already used to it, since his participation in Daytona in 1990, as in his debut in NHRA drag racing bikes in 1998, where Mendoza did not have the opportunity to do any previous test before his debut.
"The track will be in very good condition since there will be a lot of rubber and I will be able to go faster."
It is worth noting that in his debut in Nascar Texas trucks in 2007, he achieved a fourth place without having driven the race truck in the previous days.
"It has been great news that I have received in an email from the people at Indy Racing Experience, confirming my invitation to drive an Indy Car on the oval where the Indianapolis 500 will be run."
"The track will be in very good condition since there will be a lot of rubber and I will be able to go faster. I am just as excited as Fernando Alonso and I will prepare myself to arrive well at my test," said Mendoza.
Jorge Mendoza continues practicing soccer, muay thai, and karting, applying his SPEED HEALTH method of health & fitness to arrive in good shape for his test.
For now, Jorge is talking to sponsors for this new challenge and thus continue the 2017 on the right foot, with many sporting challenges in different areas, where versatility is what has characterized Mendoza in his sports career.
