Adriana Jiménez wins the fourth event of the High Diving World Cup in Abu Dhabi
Mexican diver Adriana Jiménez achieved her first victory in the High Diving World Cup this Saturday, winning the fourth scoring event held in Abu Dhabi.
Jiménez was the best among the twelve participants with 316.45 points. Australian Rhiannan Iffland (312.80) and Belarusian Yana Nestsiarava (296.80), who also secured third place at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan (Russia), followed her.
Current World Cup champion, Canadian Lysanne Richard, could only manage to finish ninth.
British diver Gary Hunt won the men's event with 443.40 points. He finished ahead of American Steve Lobue (405.30) and Czech Michal Navratil (381.95).
Mexican diver Jonathan Paredes finished fourth, only 0.95 points away from winning bronze, while Colombian Orlando Duque finished sixth with 350.90 points.
