Videna will be the venue for the Lima 2021 Pan American Table Tennis Championship.

The continental tournament will start on Saturday, November 13th, and will have the participation of 89 table tennis players from 15 countries.

The ITTF Pan American Championships, the most important table tennis competition, will take place in Lima from November 13th to 19th. The Peruvian capital will host 89 athletes from 15 countries in the Americas, who will fight for gold in the individual, team, doubles, and mixed doubles categories to qualify for the 2022 Chengdu World Team Championships.

In the championship, eight athletes will represent Peru. Isabel Duffoo, María Fernanda Maldonado, Mariagrazia La Torre, Francesca Escobedo, Rodrigo Hidalgo, Felipe Duffoo, Adrián Rubiños, and Rodrigo Vigo will be the national table tennis players who will seek their place in the World Championships.

In addition, the 2021 Pan American Table Tennis Championship in Lima will have the presence of spectators. According to the regulations published by national authorities, a reduced capacity of 20% will be allowed at the Villa Deportiva Nacional (Videna) for those who want to attend. They must have a complete vaccination card, wear double masks, and comply with social distancing.

The competition will not be easy, as there are names that have achieved great international success, such as Adriana Díaz (Puerto Rico) and Hugo Calderano (Brazil), who reached the top of the podium at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games. They also participated in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, where the Brazilian became the first Latin American to reach the quarterfinals in this sport.
