This Tuesday, the International Golf Tournament organized by Canacintra along with Expo Aladi 2016 was held at the Campestre Torreon Club, with the participation of more than 100 local and foreign players.
The competition was held under the Stableford scoring system, in two categories for ladies and three for gentlemen.
The winner of the First Gentlemen's Category was Mauricio Mijares Aguilera, who accumulated 41 points, while the second place had to be defined in the tiebreaker, where Josue Eli Garza Carrales was the best, leaving the third place to Luis Pedro Silva, both scored 40 units.
The Second Gentlemen's Category had Luis David Villalobos as the winner, with 39 accumulated points, while Armando Acosta Rodriguez finished in second position, with 36, and Daniel Martinez finished third, with 35.
The tee off was at 8:30am, the players had different services provided by various sponsoring brands, which made this experience unforgettable.
The Third Gentlemen's Category had Jesus Pena as the winner, with 33 points, followed by Carlos Garza with 32, while Fernando Buendia Cano finished in third place, with 30.
Regarding women, the First Ladies Category was won by Monica Hoyos with 37 points, while Laura Montemayor took second place with 33, and third place went to 31 points.
The Second Ladies Category was won by Mayra Garrido with 34 points, Martha de la Fuente finished in second place with 26, while Azucena Martinez finished in third position, with 25.
Eugenio Trevino, president of Canacintra Torreon, as well as Luis Carlos Silva, secretary of the same, and Xiomara Acosta, director, were present at the awards ceremony.
18 holes were played, the categories for gentlemen were: A (0-12 handicap), B (13-24 handicap), C (25-36 handicap).
For ladies, the categories were: A (0-17 handicap), B (18-36 handicap).
Attractive prizes were awarded, although no one took the main one, which was a hole in one, where a 2017 Altima car was available, in addition to an EZGO golf cart.
