Final advanced. Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal (No. 5/ATP) will face British player Andy Murray (No. 2/ATP) this Saturday, April 16th, for the semifinals of the Monte Carlo Master 1000.

The Mallorcan advanced to this stage of the tournament after defeating Swiss player Stan Wawrinka in two sets (6-1 and 6-4). Nadal indicated that the victory is "exactly what he needed" to continue regaining confidence in his individual performance.
"I have reached the semifinals of the last two Masters 1000 Montecarlo tournaments in which I have been truly competitive (after Indian Wells). That is exactly what I needed, it is what I am looking for, what restores my confidence," revealed Rafael Nadal to L'Équipe.
On the other hand, Andy Murray was a complete machine against Canadian Milos Raonic, whom he defeated in two sets (6-2 and 6-0) to advance, without any problems, to a new match against the Spanish player.
"I am enjoying my participation in Montecarlo, one of the best tournaments on the tour. Thank you for all your support, I am excited to go out tomorrow and face Rafael Nadal again," said Andy Murray on his official Facebook account.
