Year 2016, The Prestigious Golf Tournament Masters de Augusta
It was the year 2016, the prestigious Golf tournament, The Masters de Augusta, was taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The open television network, TV Azteca, sent reporter Inés Sainz to cover the event. Inés is known for always being at the best events, right in the action, and on that occasion, it was no exception.
However, the reporter and anchor received a reprimand for a seemingly minor detail, but it is part of the tournament's dress code. It was observed that the reporter was wearing denim jeans during the broadcasts, something that is not allowed during the Masters de Augusta.
The reporter defended herself by showing a video of several other people who were also wearing denim pants, but she claimed that they were not reprimanded like she was. She referred to it as a personal matter.

In the video, a woman identified as Casey Hoffman approached Inés and told her, "You will never come back to this tournament, you can leave right now, you broke the rules." The reporter asked for an explanation, but the woman ignored her and left.
The reporter mentioned that it was unfair because no one has the right to judge someone based on their attire, even in a prestigious tournament like Augusta.
"This woman has no right to treat someone like this, to belittle a person who is here to do their job professionally," said Inés in response to the reprimand she received. She considered it unfair as people wearing denim pants were passing by without being reprimanded.
It is worth noting that the reporter was able to cover the event in subsequent years as a correspondent in Augusta. However, she made sure not to wear denim pants to avoid any unpleasantness like the one in 2016.
