In Night of Champions, Sting will have the opportunity to become world champion. His fight against Seth Rollins for the most important title of WWE is ready, as seen in the YouTube clip of the TV show "Raw". But this is not about 'The Icon' but about his rival.

To the 'hesitant' Rollins seen on YouTube will have all the weight of WWE in Night of Champions. His performance is what matters: because it will be the start of the road to WrestleMania 32. But first, he has to prove himself or fall from his pedestal.

There is where the legend comes into play and the comparisons begin. Rollins will fight twice in Night of Champions, but Sting has a better record: he fought three times in three nights. In the events Starrcade 1989, Starrcade 1992 and WCW Spring Stampede 2000 he achieved this marathon feat.

So far, as also seen on YouTube, WWE has made bad decisions with Sting regarding his dispute with Rollins. Against Triple H, at WrestleMania, he was seen more as "The Vigilante". Now, he seems more like the crazy Joker: he is not yet used with the figure that gave him the prestige and fame of a great fighter, the dark 'The Crow'.

But Night of Champions is still his great opportunity. It seems unlikely that he will actually win the title. If that happens, and Cena also loses, Rollins will take a big step in his career. If the fights are clean -as Seth has done before- the current WWE monarch will have all the spotlight to be 'the face'.

This happening is not far-fetched, just remember the night when Chris Jericho defeated The Rock and Stone Cold in the same event: his already launched career was consolidated.

But if Rollins loses, and Sting remains as champion, Triple H will be 'forced' to support Sheamus in a campaign for him to become champion: This would trigger a greater presence of the former WCW and the expected rebellion of the protégé and the master.

'Jealousy' would move Rollins. He would complain to Triple H about the new support 'Sheamus'. Thus, a path would begin that various analysts claim will culminate with a fight between them at WrestleMania 32. And Sting remains as a legendary 13-time world champion: from WCW, TNA, NWA and WWE.

THE DATA
Although his performance seems slow in the YouTube archive, Sting is a 56-year-old wrestler in good shape for his age. But that does not take away from the fact that he is the wrestler who has been awarded the "Wrestler of the Year" title by Pro Wrestling Illustrated the most times: four times in total.
