James Rodriguez only played 30 minutes of the crucial match against Senegal, where the Colombian national team was playing for qualification. An injury left him out of the final group stage match of Russia 2018 and he mentioned that he is quite worried about his situation.
"All I can say is that I am very worried. This situation is very tough for the team. I did not want to enter into comments deliberately. In every game, we feel a critical situation. It is not a comfortable situation. He trained normally until yesterday (Wednesday), he stayed shooting penalties and free kicks at the end," said Jose Pekerman about James Rodriguez.
"He was in all conditions and in the last one there were no signs and after that, I don't know. At the moment I don't have the confirmation of the injury. We have to wait. We hope for good news, after the review, to know exactly what happened," the coach of the Colombian national team concluded about James Rodriguez.
