Panama National Team midfielder, Alberto Quintero, will miss the World Cup in Russia, after being injured in the friendly match against Norway.
Alberto Quintero played the second half of the match that Panama lost 1-0 to Norway, in Oslo. The Universitario de Deportes player entered the field at minute 45+1 as a substitute for his teammate José Luis Rodríguez.
"During today's match against Norway, he suffered a trauma to the right foot torso. We took him to a private clinic where X-rays were taken and a fracture was evident," said the Panamanian national team doctor, Gerinaldo Martínez.
