Peruvian National Team Trains at Videna after Defeat against Chile

The Peruvian national team trained today at Videna, after arriving from Santiago where they lost against Chile (0-2) in the third match of the qualifiers. They all showed determination to perform well against Argentina in Lima next week.

After the training session, a press conference took place, in which Oliver Sonne participated for the first time since joining the national team. "It is very important for me. I am proud to be here representing the national team, and I am very happy to finally visit the country," he said.

"There was a lot of expectation. I believe that everyone who has ever tried to play football at this level has felt these expectations. It is part of the job, and it is my duty to try to do my best. I will fight for the national team and the country," he mentioned.

OFFENSIVE GAME

Regarding the strategy against Chile, Oliver Sonne considers that they need to insist on the attacking formula. "There were good things in the match, of course, the result is not what we expected, but I think we played well and organized as a team," he said.

"What I do believe is that we need a little more of an offensive game than we had in this match. I think the team did a good job, but we didn't score the goals we needed. Maybe next time we will be more offensive," highlighted the Peruvian-Danish footballer.
