Dragon Ball Super
Dragon Ball Super continues to bring surprises to Goku fans. The movie and the change in the design of the main character are already on everyone's lips.
Akio Iyoku, responsible for the Dragon Room, a space created by Toei Animation to reveal more information about the future of Dragon Ball, revealed that Akira Toriyama himself insisted on hiring a new designer for Goku's drawing.
Toriyama ordered interested designers to draw Goku from the front, as there are many artists capable of doing it from the side.
Toriyama himself evaluated the candidates' work. Naohiro Shintani was chosen for future Dragon Ball Super movies and anime. Shintani is already known in the industry for his work on One Piece Film Z.
