Peru's Captain and Top Scorer Paolo Guerrero Thanks Fans

The captain and top scorer of the Peruvian national team, Paolo Guerrero, took a moment to thank his fans on social media for their show of affection towards him.

"I want to thank everyone for their words on this day and for all the support they always give me. Thank you for making this birthday such a special day for me," wrote Paolo Guerrero.

Paolo Guerrero was born on January 1st and in Peru, they celebrate it with special enthusiasm because he is one of Peru's key players in returning to a World Cup after 35 years of absence.

Paolo Guerrero will lead Peru in the 2018 World Cup, which will start on June 14th and end on July 15th.

The Peruvian national team is in Group C of the World Cup along with France, Denmark, and Australia, as determined by the draw held at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
