Good news for the Peruvian National Team after qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, 36 years later. The president of the Federation, Edwin Oviedo, announced the construction of the National Team Center, this Thursday.
"Athletes need to have the comforts to be able to work calmly and be at their best in competitions. We must continue with this long-term project and for this reason, tomorrow (Friday) this infrastructure plan will begin," stated the leader at the signing of the agreement.

The building will be constructed in Chaclacayo, on one of the Church's 114,000 square meter plots. Oviedo detailed that the new 'Videna' will have 6 football fields, as well as modern rooms and dressing rooms.
The facility will benefit the preparation of the different categories of the Peruvian National Team, both the women's and men's branches, added the director, who continued to smile from ear to ear due to the qualification to Russia 2018.
The announcement meeting was attended by FIFA vice president Alejandro Dominguez, FIFA General Secretary Fatma Samoura, and Archbishop Juan Luis Cipriani.
