A day destined for the history books. This July 4, 2026, the Macy’s Fireworks Spectacular promises to be unprecedented for two major reasons: the show’s milestone 50th anniversary coincides with the 250th anniversary of American independence. Because of this, the production will be significantly more massive compared to previous years, featuring over 85,000 shells and synchronized laser effects. The display will be launched from the Brooklyn Bridge, the lower East River (Seaport), and the lower Hudson River in a joint collaboration with Jersey City.
