MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Air National Guard will be adding some extra energy to Saturday's big game between Wisconsin and Alabama.
The 115th Fighter Wing is set to perform a low-level flyover of Camp Randall Stadium before kickoff. Those near the stadium and on Madison's west side can expect to hear and/or see a formation of F-35s overhead at around 11 a.m.
The Badgers are set to take on No. 4 Alabama in one of the biggest matchups of the season. Both squads enter the game undefeated, however the Crimson Tide are considered strong favorites.
This is only the third meeting between the two teams, and the first in Madison since 1928. The Badgers and Tide last clashed in the 2015 season opener in Arlington, Texas, with the Nick Saban-led Tide winning 35-17 behind Derrick Henry's three rushing touchdowns. Alabama went on to win the National Championship that season.
