While Notre Dame football won its season opening contest against the Texas A&M Aggies 23-13 on Saturday night, it was all good news for the Irish.
During the game one of the team’s top expected wide receivers, Jordan Faison, caught a pass and went down awkwardly. He limped off the field and looked like he was in some pain, and we wouldn’t see the two-sport star for the rest of the game.
Following the contest, head coach Marcus Freeman gave a somewhat vague update on Faison’s status, saying he was going to be OK and that he shouldn’t be out long due to a lower body injury.
Marcus Freeman said he's confident Jordan Faison is going to be OK and quickly bounce back from his lower-body injury.

Clearly he didn’t give specifics as to what the issue is, which I’m sure we will find out exactly what the ailment is in the coming days. Until then, we should expect the sophomore receiver back on the field soon.
