The Milwaukee Bucks got a significant boost heading into Tuesday’s bout against the Miami Heat when Khris Middleton was cleared to play despite dealing with an Achilles injury. The three-time All-Star missed Milwaukee’s hard-fought win against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, so it was nice to see him back in action after just one missed game.
Unfortunately for the Bucks, they were dealt with another injury in the first half of Tuesday’s game.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Pat Connaughton Ruled Out Vs. Heat
One of the first names out of the Milwaukee bench for head coach Adrian Griffin is Pat Connaughton. The veteran sharpshooter has established himself as a key part of the squad’s rotation, and Tuesday night was no different.
Unfortunately, Connaughton sustained an injury in the first half, forcing him to leave the game after 15 minutes of action.
To make matters worse, the Bucks have now ruled Connaughton out for the remainder of the game with what has been diagnosed as a right ankle sprain.

Connaughton finished with seven points on 3-of-5 shooting, to go along with one three-pointer, one rebound, and an assist.
The Bucks will obviously be hoping that this is nothing more than a minor knock for the 30-year-old. Connaughton will surely undergo tests on his ankle, which should determine the extent of the injury.
Milwaukee will lose more depth in the wing if Connaughton ends up missing time because of this injury. Jae Crowder is already out with a long-term injury after being forced to undergo surgery on his left adductor.
If Connaughton is sidelined, more minutes should be available for the likes of MarJon Beauchamp and rookie Andre Jackson Jr.
