Juan Reynoso will announce his official list of called-up players for the Peruvian national team on Monday, October 9th, for the matches against Chile and Argentina in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Previously, he had only announced a preliminary list with players exclusively from the Liga 1. In this regard, Wilder Cartagena received a lot of praise from Oscar Pareja, his coach at Orlando City.
In order for the 'Cabezón' to consider him, the midfielder who plays in the Major League Soccer is having a great season, and that was what prompted his coach to recognize him, just before Juan Reynoso has to decide which team to field in Santiago against Chile and at the Estadio Nacional in Lima against Argentina.
