Simone Biles Surprises with Acrobatic Pitch at World Series
Olympic medalist Simone Biles surprised everyone on Wednesday by performing a 360-degree acrobatic twist in the air before throwing the first pitch of the World Series baseball game between the Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals.
The gymnast, who won gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics and is a five-time world champion, amazed the crowd with her spectacular somersault before making the pitch, which was caught by Marisnick, who later gave her an autograph.
Born 22 years ago in Houston, Biles was the special guest at Minute Maid Park on Wednesday for the second game of the World Series.
Despite wearing regular jeans instead of her special gymnast suit, Biles was able to make a backward jump and then throw the pitch.
The thousands of fans who attended the game gave her a standing ovation for her spectacular jump.
Biles became the most decorated gymnast in the history of the World Championships just ten days ago when she won a gold medal on the balance beam during the championships held in Germany.
