Héctor Salva will hang the bronze medal from the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games. The Peruvian defeated Wyatt Lightfoot from Canada in a very close contest held at the Videna Polideportivo.
The national para-athlete worked hard to defeat the Canadian with a score of 2-1, with sets of 21-14, 14-21, and 21-9. The exciting match lasted 40 minutes.
Héctor Salva has added the third medal for the Peruvian delegation at the 2019 Parapan American Games: three gold, three silver, and seven bronze.
Rosbil Guillen, Rimas Hilario, and Leonor Espinoza won the gold medals. Luis Sandoval, Carlos Felipe, and Jorge Arcela won the silver medals. Antero Villalobos, Efraín Sotacuro, Rodrigo Santillán, Donia Felices, Juana Vásquez, and William Fernández obtained the bronze medals.
