Sporting Cristal became the champion of the 2016 Descentralizado Tournament

If bien the match ended without goals, the rimense team achieved the title thanks to the goal scored in the first leg in Arequipa. Thus, Sporting Cristal won their 18th star and classified for the Copa Libertadores as Peru 1; while Melgar will go to the international tournament as Peru 2.
