League 1 2023: When will the finals between Alianza Lima vs Universitario be played?
Alianza Lima and Universitario de Deportes will face each other in thrilling home and away finals for the League 1 2023 title. The blanquiazules come into the finals as champions of the Apertura Tournament, while the cremas won the Clausura Tournament.
Yet to confirm the venues for these decisive matches, Hernán Barcos, the Argentine forward of Alianza Lima, spoke about the possibility of the íntimos celebrating against the cremas at the Estadio Monumental U Marathon.
"Well, we haven't talked about it yet. I'm sure during the week it will be decided with our people, leaders, teammates, we will seek the best for Alianza and make a decision. Nothing is certain," said the 'Pirata'.
When asked which stadium he would prefer for the final match of the Liga 1 title, he added: "I would like to be a three-time champion, no matter where.
