Can contributions of up to S/19,800 be released yet?

As we mentioned, Guido Bellido's legislative initiative was debated. The debate ended with the Legislator urging the Presidency of the Economy Committee to approve as soon as possible the report of his proposal for its respective discussion in the Plenary. Therefore, the release of contributions has not been accepted yet.

Retirement of AFP 2023 Peru: What does Guido Bellido's proposal suggest?

Congressman Guido Bellido's legislative proposal suggests that AFP affiliates have the option to submit their withdrawal requests, either in person or online, within 90 days from the publication of the project.

Once the process starts, the first payment of S/4,950 (equivalent to 1 UIT) must be made within the following 30 days. The second payment, of the same amount, will be made 30 days after the first one, and finally, the third payment of S/9,900 (2 UIT) will be deposited in the third stage of the process.

How many projects are seeking a new AFP withdrawal and which ones have been debated?

So far, congressmen have presented 15 bills seeking to allow a seventh release of private pension funds. Three of these proposals are intended for mortgage use for the purchase of housing. The other 12 seek to help affiliates cope with the increased cost of basic goods.
