In the last hours, the Public Ministry reported on social networks that the Third Supraprovincial Corporate Specialized Prosecutor's Office against Organized Crime intervened once again in the Videna after investigations against the head of the FPF, Agustín Lozano, as well as other members of the Federation.
"The Third Supraprovincial Corporate Specialized Prosecutor's Office against Organized Crime is conducting proceedings at the National Sports Village (Videna) as part of an investigation against Agustín Lozano and other members of the Peruvian Football Federation," the Public Ministry reported.
As known, the Public Ministry has scheduled various dates to intervene in the workplace of the Peruvian Football Federation, following an investigation involving certain members of the national football entity.
Furthermore, it evaluates all the documents that report the payments to professional clubs in the First and Second Division, as well as to 1190 Sports, the company that holds the television rights to the Liga 1.
"The prosecution team collects information regarding the monetary amounts allocated by the FPF to the clubs of the Peruvian Football League 1 and 2, the Professional Footballers Association of Peru, the company Peru 1190 Sports, among others," it added.
What has the Public Ministry requested after intervening in the Videna?
After this new approach to the Videna following the investigations against Agustín Lozano, the Public Ministry has requested further administrative information regarding the trips of FPF members. It also seeks information about the 10% payment to the IPD for television rights.
"The list of members of the Assembly of Bases, administrative information, and the list of trips made by members of said assembly have been requested. Likewise, it is verified whether the FPF has complied with delivering 10% of the amounts for television rights to the IPD," the Public Ministry added.
