Oliver Sonne leaves Peru without debuting for the national team
Oliver Sonne arrived in Peru with the hope of playing at least a few minutes on the field, but unfortunately it didn't happen. The athlete had no opportunity against Chile or Argentina and it is unknown if his intentions of representing our country are still intact. After this first approach with the Peruvian national team, the 22-year-old player decided to return to Denmark on Wednesday, October 18 and arrived in his home country on Thursday, where he was received by his girlfriend Isabella Taulund, who also dedicated some emotional words upon seeing her partner again.
"My baby has returned to Danish soil," wrote Sonne's partner, who had not yet spoken out about the athlete's call-up to Peru. Also, in the photo shared on Isabella's Instagram account, the footballer can be seen with a big smile on his face.
Oliver Sonne went through the naturalization process to be able to be present in the last matches against Chile and Argentina, but the coach Juan Reynoso has not yet given him the opportunity to wear the Peruvian shirt and make his long-awaited debut with the national team.
