It all started when 'Cuto' decided to share how he started his career as an entrepreneur in the food industry, but Vargas interrupted him to make a racist comment, mentioning that he had invited him to eat cat in Chincha.
This provoked the discomfort of the former Universitario de Deportes defender, who didn't hesitate to respond."Can you behave? Don't talk like that (...) He has played in Italy, father of five children, and doesn't behave as he should (...) I'm not standing up out of respect for you (Andrés Hurtado) and for the public, but it's time for you to behave as you should. Luis 'Cuto' Guadalupe commented on Juan Manuel Vargas' remarks and assured that he knows how to accept jokes or inappropriate comments, but the statements made by the 'Loco' tarnished his image as the owner of his restaurant.
"It's not that I can't take a joke, on the contrary, I'm someone who can take a joke, but everything has its time and place. I have a restaurant, Cuto 16, and those types of 'jokes' go against my good image. My friendship with Juan Vargas ends here, it doesn't go any further. I repeat, this stage is over," he mentioned.
