Rest in peace: César Vallejo reported the sad passing of Stalin Morillo [VIDEO].

The Peruvian football is in mourning. This Saturday, September 30, César Vallejo University reported the sensitive death of its player Stalin Morillo at the age of 23. The footballer had a traffic accident in the district of Moche, province of Trujillo. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately lost his life. He played as a defender and his last game was a month ago. In addition, he was champion with the Trujillanos in the Second Division.

Through a statement, the 'Poeta' team lamented the loss of their player, who had been with the club since he was a child. "Today the football world is in mourning for the loss of a true talent, Stalin Morillo. At his young age of 23, his tragic departure leaves us with a broken heart and a void that will be hard to fill", they commented initially.

"He joined the César Vallejo club at the early age of 9, making his debut in the First Division in 2019 at just 19 years old. His skill, professionalism and dedication in every game served as inspiration to his teammates and everyone who had the privilege of watching him play", added the Trujillo team.

"May his legacy endure as a reminder of what can be achieved with determination and passion in football and in life. May he serve as an example to all the young people who seek to achieve their dreams. Rest in peace, Stalin. Your light will never stop shining in our hearts", César Vallejo concluded.

The president of the 'Poeta' club, Richard Acuña, also had some words about the unfortunate loss of the young footballer. "Still saddened by the loss of Stalin Morillo, talented player from our youth academy. His passion for football will always be remembered. My deepest condolences to his family and friends in this difficult time. Rest in peace", he pointed out on his social media.
