Football is an emotional roller coaster, a phrase that reflects the trajectory of Sebastián Quincho. The 24-year-old Peruvian goalkeeper went from playing in the Copa Peru to becoming the new signing of Benque Viejo United FC, a team in the first division of Belize.
Quincho was presented by Benque on August 4 of the current year. The goalkeeper had been playing for San Pedro de Marcona, a team that participates in the Copa Peru.
After being announced by his new team, Quincho managed to earn a spot in the starting eleven. Thanks to his good performances, he received recognition from his new club on social media.
Benque is the leader of the Belize League with 13 points, in six matches played. In the last round, they beat Police United 3-0. On Saturday, September 23, they will face Progresso at the Mashalleck Stadium.
Who is Sebastián Quincho?
Sebastián Quincho is a goalkeeper, 24 years old, born in Ica. He played in the youth divisions of a football school. In 2016, he played in the Copa Peru with Zona Libre de Marcona.
In 2018, he joined the youth teams of Unión Huaral and a season later returned to Zona Libre de Marcona to play in the Copa Peru. In that same year, he defended the shirt of Defensor Mina.
In 2022, he joined San Pedro de Marcona. Thanks to his good performances in the Copa Peru, he was signed by Benque Viejo United in the First Division of Belize.
