What happened? Alexi Gómez was arrested after training. The midfielder has an outstanding warrant for crimes against life, body, and health, aggressions against women in the form of physical violence; therefore, he was transferred to the detention center of the Judiciary in Cusco, so that the proceedings continue in accordance with the law.

It should be noted that the request for his arrest came from the Court of Lima, so the Deportivo Garcilaso player would be traveling to the capital city to continue with his process for the alleged crime committed.

After their victory over Cusco FC, Deportivo Garcilaso is in sixth place in the Clausura of the Liga 1 Betsson, with 22 units. All this is the result of six wins, four draws, and two defeats in the second tournament of the local championship so far.

This Wednesday, the celestial team will have to compete against Sport Huancayo, in 'La Incontrastable', for a new match of the tournament. After that, they will receive Cienciano -in the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega stadium-, in a new edition of the Cusco classic.
