DT de Gallese explains why he didn't make it to Europe
Óscar Pareja was interviewed by RPP and spoke about Pedro Gallese's present in the national team as well as in Orlando City. The Colombian strategist pointed out that the Peruvian "has matured" and that "he is a source of pride for all Latin American football". The Orlando City coach was asked about Pedro Gallese's present and what perception he has of him as a professional: "he is a very professional player. It's my fourth year with him. We have him as an example for the younger kids. He has matured a lot".
However, the Colombian coach pointed out that his level with Peru and in these qualifiers is valued throughout the continent and that he sees that same commitment in him when he plays for Orlando City: "it is a source of pride for all Latin Americans, for all Latinos. In the qualifiers I would say yes, because of the demand he had in the first match".
