The director of the 'La Blanquirroja' collective mentioned that they will only have 4 drums, trumpets, and trombones to support the national team at the Na stadium.
Peru vs Brazil Eliminatorias Mundial 2026
Less than a day away from the match between Peru and Brazil for matchday 2 of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers at the National Stadium, the Ministry of Interior (Mininter) would have limited the entry of instruments and flags for the game.
In an interview with 24 Horas, the director of the collective known as 'La Blanquirroja', Abdel Yuen, stated that this measure could be due to a control of violence that could arise during the match.
"Usually they tell us it's for violence control. However, the instruments that have been reduced are still entering other parts of the stadium," he said.
ALLOWED ITEMS
Yuen also mentioned that they will be allowed to bring in 4 drums, trumpets, and trombones, but the bell and the murga are prohibited at the Jose Diaz colossus.
According to the director of 'La Blanquirroja', this prohibition is upsetting for the fans because they were looking forward to celebrating and giving a party to the Peruvian national team at the National Stadium.
It is worth mentioning that Peru will make its debut as the home team against Brazil in the beginning of the qualifiers for the Canada, United States, and Mexico 2026 World Cup.
