Piero Quispe and Joao Grimaldo would be on Juan Reynoso's list. Fans believe that the time has come for a generational change and they have asked the bicolor's coach to bet on the young players from Universitario and Sporting Cristal in the starting team.

In response to the fans' request, Diego Rebagliati explained the reasons why Juan Reynoso would not bet on Grimaldo and Quispe as starters in the Peruvian national team.

"There is a feeling among the people that the newcomers have to play. Would any of you dare to put Grimaldo without a single international match before Carrillo, who has 100? Or Quispe before 'Canchita', who has 80 international matches?," said the sports commentator on Al Ángulo.

"A change is needed, but that change does not have the backing from below," added Diego Rebagliati. Then, the sports commentator indicated that if the young players don't excel in the Peruvian national team, fans will question their call-up.

When is the Peru national team's match?

Peru plays against Paraguay on Thursday, September 7th at the Antonio Aranda Stadium in Ciudad del Este. The bicolor's match against Brazil is on September 12th at the National Stadium in Lima.
