Legacy handed over the apartments to the medallists of the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

Álvaro Castro, CEO of Legacy, handed over the keys to his apartments (located in the Parapan American Sports Village) to the outstanding medalists of Lima 2019 Gladys Tejeda, Thalía Malqui, Carlos Felipa, and Anastasia Iamackine. This happened after the athletes and para-athletes were unable to attend the official ceremony held on July 26.

"We continue working to deliver the apartments to those who could not attend the ceremony on the 26th due to sports, work, or being outside of Lima. From today, they will be able to live in their homes," said Castro.

As it is remembered, Law No. 30949 rewards the 65 medalists athletes and para-athletes with an apartment located in Tower 5 of the Pan American Village. For this purpose, Legacy is expediting the process through a working group with the medalists, based on transparency and dialogue.

After receiving this award, Gladys Tejada was very excited, indicating that this initiative is a great motivation. In addition, she promised to give her best in the next Santiago 2023 marathon.
