"Alianza Lima is a club that I have affection for, and it's reciprocal with the fans as well. There is a lot of respect involved. Imagine that my son was born when I was playing in Alianza, it was the first time he set foot in a stadium. My family also has a connection with the club, but today I owe myself to Cusco FC and obviously I want to beat them," he said at the end of training.
In fact, the popular 'Felucho' confessed that he always wishes the best for the 'íntimos' but not if he has to face them, as he emphasized that he always wants to defeat them. However, he affirmed that, out of respect, he wouldn't celebrate a goal against them if he scores.
"I always want Alianza Lima to do well, but not when they play against us because I'm the first one who wants to beat them. Out of respect, they are the only club I wouldn't celebrate a goal against, precisely because of the respect and how they treated me at the club, that's why I wouldn't celebrate it," he explained.

Felipe Rodríguez on Alianza Lima's bad moment
Finally, Felipe Rodríguez was asked about his opinion regarding the bad moment that Alianza Lima is going through, to which he stated that it doesn't mean much because both clubs have the chance to take the three points.
"I don't believe in moments when you're doing badly, they can be beaten down. I believe that Alianza can come up with a different idea and take the three points, just like we can come up with a plan and win, so let's see who takes the victory," he concluded.
