Remigio Morales speaks out about Alianza Lima vs. Universitario
This weekend Alianza Lima will play the classic Peruvian football match against Universitario de Deportes, but prior to that Guillermo Salas' team lost to Sport Boys at the Estadio Nacional in the 4th round of the Clausura Tournament. Because of this, the club and its coaching staff began to receive a lot of criticism from the press and the fans, and in response former member of the Fondo Blanquiazul, Remigio Morales, decided to make a strong statement.
The ex-sports director is currently a member of Alianza Lima, so he is aware of some things and in an interview with Radio Ovación he expressed his opinion about what is happening in the team. Morales gave his full support to 'Chicho' Salas, but made it clear that if there are changes in the future, they should not only be at the level of the coaching staff, but much deeper.
"If Alianza has a project, it will be in the future more than it is today. We should not only focus on the head coach of the first team, but also on the project, infrastructure, the television issue is hitting us hard, this mess that the Federation has created is against the clubs," said Remigio Morales to the aforementioned media, highlighting all the problems the club is going through.

Similarly, the former member of the Fondo Blanquiazul did not hesitate to talk about the classic match that Alianza Lima will play against Universitario de Deportes on Saturday, July 22 at the Estadio Alejandro Villanueva, for the 5th round of the Clausura Tournament in the Liga 1. The aliancistas are obliged to win after two games without a victory, otherwise they will start to distance themselves from the top positions in the national competition.
"In the classic match, there are no statistics, Universitario is well organized, Fossati has set up his players well and reinforced them, the work he has done is incredible. Alianza is coming from a defeat without playing well, there are games like that, I hope Saturday is the opposite. We expect to enter the field well and leave well," said Remigio Morales.
