Paolo Guerrero continues to make headlines nationwide

The 'Predator', who returned to the Peruvian national team after a long time, surprised all fans prior to joining the training camp in Asia for the matches against South Korea and Japan. He made strong comparisons between the leagues where several of his teammates play.

This undoubtedly caused indignation among fans and communicators. That's why one of those who spoke out about it was Salomon Libman, who did not hesitate to support the experienced striker, stating that his strong words were due to possible frustration.

"I believe that Paolo gets along with everyone. Maybe he was tired or fed up with the questions they were asking him, they caught him at such a moment. But afterwards, he thinks differently," he began saying in an interview for GOLPERÚ.

Then, the former Peruvian goalkeeper dared to give an example, pointing out that during the qualification for the 2018 World Cup, there were several players who were in local teams and nobody commented on it. He reiterated that 'PG9' did not do it with ill intentions, he was just tired.

"In fact, when Peru went to the World Cup, there were several players who played in the local league. Corzo and three, four who were there. That's due to frustration," he added.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that Salomon Libman was part of the Peruvian national team and shared the team with Paolo Guerrero during the Sergio Markarián era and part of the Ricardo Gareca era. Therefore, he believes that he knows him perfectly well and does not believe that he did it with the intention of hurting anyone.
