In the last few weeks, several cases of dengue have been reported in various regions of Peru. The Aedes aegypti (transmitting insect) has caused several deaths due to the strong symptoms caused by the bites.
Taking into account this panorama, a group of neighbors from the Stella Maris, Bellavista urbanization have raised their voice in protest against the presence of an infectious focus inside an abandoned house that belongs to Alexander Callens.

In the report issued by 'Arriba mi gente', the neighbors of the area stated that the house has been abandoned for a year and inside there is a greenish stagnant pool of water. This has alarmed the families, as there are mosquitoes present 24 hours a day.
One of the affected families faced the cameras and stated that it is impossible to live without repellent or devices to eliminate mosquitoes.
According to their comments, the house was bought by the Peruvian national team defender a year ago, and it was intended to be a gift for his mother. When construction and remodeling works were being carried out, the municipality arrived and suspended all activity, leaving it abandoned until today.
