The Supreme Court, led by Javier Villa Stein, leaves the extradition of the former president of the Peruvian Football Federation, Manuel Burga, to the vote. His future will be decided in the next five days.
Through a video conference, Burga Seoane reaffirmed his innocence and stated that he never participated in any meeting where bribery or crimes were discussed. He argued that all he wants is to get out of prison to be able to hug his family.
As it is remembered, the former head of the FPF has been imprisoned in the Piedras Gordas prison since December of last year for alleged corruption crimes related to his managerial activity in FIFA.
