Peru begins its journey to the Dota 2 World Cup again, this time in IESF WEC 2023 where it will first have to face the representatives of the South American South region consisting of Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.
The Peruvian team is made up of the following players: Edward "Lumiere" Guillen, Ricardo "Alone" Fernandez, Pablo "Vitaly" Angulo, Anthony "Gardick" Lopez, and Yelstin "elmisho" Verde. They are part of Hokori, with the exception of elmisho who was replaced by Michael-.
This is the schedule of matches for the Peruvian Dota 2 team:

- 31/05/2023 - Peru vs Argentina - 14:00
All matches are Best of 1 and will be broadcasted on the official IESF channels. The format is a round-robin quadrangular, the team that obtains the most points against the others will take the only available spot for our region and will travel directly to the Global Finals in Iasi, Romania.
We must remember that previously, the South American region spot for Dota 2 was won in 2022 by the Peruvian team, defeating the Brazilian team 2-0 in the finals. PESA is an official member of IESF and representative of Peru. The players from that team were able to visit the facilities of Claro gaming's High Performance Center for interviews and later wear the official national team attire.
